About the diploma

The CPA Diploma in IPSAS Financial Reporting will prepare you for the introduction of IPSAS and enable you to apply the standards accurately and appropriately.

Completing the diploma will enable you to:

  • Understand and apply the IPSAS standards
  • Implement the standards within your organisation
  • Provide the best practical advice on the application of the standards
  • Create and interpret financial statements compliant with the standards

The diploma is 70 hours of study and is made up of nine modules and a final assessment:

1.  Foundation Module
2.  Non-current assets: Property, Plant and Equipment
3.  Other Assets
4.  Provisions and Liabilities
5.  Revenues
6.  Financial Instruments
7.  Other Presentation Issues
8.  Accounting for Business Combinations
9.  Other IPSASs
